  • Week 1: Is The Stock Cheap?
    Learn when a stock is cheap and how to value it with Fundamental Analysis. Perhaps more importantly, avoid overpaying for expensive stocks. Where can you find relevant data, and how do you use it to build a robust financial model? How should you value growth, market leadership, shrinking companies, different sectors like real estate, IT, subscription services, industrials, etc?
  • Week 2: Finding Stocks with Screening
    Learn how to find new stocks to invest in by using a variety of free and paid research tools and stock screeners. Then narrow down your selection by filtering for select financial metrics depending on the type of characteristics of the stock you want. Build your own Watchlist over the long-term and create appropriate categories for it.
  • Week 3: Company Evaluation & Demand
     Is the company durable? Are sales, growth, and margins sustainable or temporary? How to determine if basic fundamental financial variables are cyclical, trending or durable? Even if the company seems cheap now, will it be able to keep growing profitably? Are the customers sticky and growing? Or sustainable? What makes the customers buy? How long do they stay? Why do they choose this company's offering instead of others? Learn methods to decipher this.
  • Week 4: Business Model & Moat
    Do you understand the company's business model and how it differs from competitors? Does the company have any competitive advantage and, if so, is it durable?
  • Week 5: Timing: Headwinds & Tailwinds
    Learn to use Technical Analysis and Macroeconomic factors to determine whether your investment is likely to be helped or hurt by market trends and the economy.
  • Week 6: Valuation & Portfolio Management
    Learn the proprietary RANGEr valuation model and use it to build a stock portfolio based on risk-to-reward attractiveness. Learn when it makes sense to reallocate or change your position sizing. And finally, some rules of thumb to avoid FOMO, falling knives, and jumping into stocks you haven't researched well enough to own.
